Balcony & Patio Updates for Spring at Independence Place

With spring winds caressing our apartment community here in Cranston, RI, we thought it would be a good time to share some ideas for updating your Independence Place balcony or patio. Last July we shared a few ideas for ways to spruce up your balcony, and today we’re back with some additional thoughts which we hope will spark your imagination and inspire you to place your personal stamp on your balcony or patio this spring.
-
String up some lights or lanterns to make your place shine and give your balcony a fun, laid back vibe. PartyLights.com has a great selection of all sorts of outdoor lights that will help your patio glow. Just be sure you have an outlet to plug them in and an extension cord if necessary.
-
Use the wall of your balcony or patio to display items you wouldn’t necessarily hang inside. How about a kite collection to add a splash of color, or your favorite fishing rod and net? Colorful tapestries create a focal point on a balcony wall. Add a string of lights to complete the relaxing ambiance for evening enjoyment.
-
Your patio or balcony is there for you to enjoy, so as you’re decorating it, make seating a priority. It doesn’t have to be full of furniture if you don’t think you’ll use it, of course. But stock it with a cozy chair or two — or a bench — so you can enjoy the beauty of nature without feeling crowded with furniture or other decorations. Even a bold statement piece can do a lot to create a friendly space you’ll love relaxing in.
Our amenities, including balconies and patios, add to your living experience here at Independence Place. What is your favorite perk of our apartment community? Let us know in the comments. Thanks for reading today’s post.
